Loft Scene Diptych 8′ x 4′

These paintings measure 8′ x 4′ and are acrylic on 2 Masonite boards. I lived in a large 6,500 square foot loft space in the West-side of Chicago. I worked as a delivery driver in the day, and spent my nights painting and dreaming of something bigger. The characters are specific portraits of some of my favorite denizens of 312 N. Laflin.  Sadly, they are so big and heavy that these paintings have never been publicly displayed.  They sit in my mother’s garage in Northbrook, waiting for the day when I have space to reclaim them.
